In Thaliya Rosa Martinez final semester at ONU, she took classes at the LA Film Studies Center (LAFSC) in Los Angeles, California, where she honed her craft through film production courses at Sunset Gower Studios, deepening her understanding of herself as a filmmaker.

She was assigned as the assistant director and producer for the film "Breakdown in Poppy Meadow," which was filmed in the mountains of Poppy Meadow in Los Angeles, California.  

Her film crew went through the entire process of making a short film.

While producing this film, she also created her own independent film titled "The Paradox of Love." 

At the end of "Breakdown in Poppy Meadow," the film was shown at the final premiere, where Martinez's independent film, "The Paradox of Love," was also selected to be screened.
